At the heart of this recipe is a coarsely ground base of freshly roasted High-Oleic Runner peanuts. Raw Organic honey is blended in for a touch of bright, natural sweetness before layering in Burlap & Barrel's New Mexico Hatch Green Chile Powder — earthy, fruity, and unmistakably aromatic — alongside a measured kick of habanero and the perfect punctuation of Jacobsen sea salt. The result is a delightfully complex peanut butter with a sweet, slow-building warmth that keeps you coming back for more.

Even if I love all the other spicy peanut butters from Big Spoon Roasters, this one is a keeper for me. Delicately spicy with a developing heat. Great texture. Easy to spread. I tried with some crudités as well as with a piece of dark chocolate. Both great experiences.
