Sometimes we can get into a smoothie rut. This recipe came from an urge to have something a little different. We love the sweet, tart flavor of all the tropical ingredients in the smoothie, paired with a creaminess of our new Cashew Butter with Coconut Nectar & Sea Salt. Hope you enjoy!
Serves 2-3
INGREDIENTS
Smoothie
- 1 ½ cup milk (we used homemade almond milk)
- ½ cup orange juice
- 1 ½ cup frozen tropical blend
- 1 banana
- 2 packets frozen pitaya
- 3 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 3 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)
- 1 mango, cut into slices
- 2 kiwis, cut into half moon pieces
- 1 banana, cut into slices
- 1 cup granola
- ¼ cup Coconut
- ¼ cup Cashew Butter with Coconut Nectar
PREPARATION
- Blend all smoothie ingredients in blender starting on low and moving to high speed. You may need to stop and stir once or twice.
- Blend until smooth.
- Divide into bowls. Depending on size it should make 2-3 bowls.
- Divide toppings amongst bowls and enjoy!
